]]> In 2010, I had my engagement photos taken at Disneyland. So when Nicole came to me asking to take her photos there are well, it was an honor. We are both, let’s say, Disneyland enthusiasts and we complied a list of our favorite locations throughout the park. We chose a Wednesday in mid-May with the hopes of minimal crowds. And in the end, it seemed to work out just fine. With great weather, tolerable crowds, and a checklist full of locations, it was time to get to work.

Nicole and Ben ordered a pair of custom SF Giants tees to announce their wedding date, 06/21/14. i love their creativity!

Last year, Ben proposed to Nicole at the wishing well next to Sleeping Beauty Castle. So it was only fitting that we returned to that very spot for their engagement photos. We came back to the well later in the day for their “fancy wear.”

Nicole and Ben changed their outfits and we moved to the Court of Angels, arguably one of the most romantic spots in Disneyland. From there, we shot around New Orleans Square and aboard The Mark Twain.


After we disembarked, we found a spot on the side of the Rivers of America and waited for the Mark Twain to pass us. Perfect!

Nicole had the brilliant idea to place her engagement ring in the hands of Aurora and Phillip!

At this point, you would have an easy time believing we were the only ones in the park. In fact, we made a great effort to exclude tourists from our shoot. But when it was time the parade to begin, we embraced the crowds and put on a show of our own!

   

I was looking forward to getting some fun shots of Nicole and Ben on the Teacups, but they were closed.

We were shooting around the Disneyland Railroad station on Main Street when this Cast Member surprised us with an impromptu wedding! After the ‘ceremony,’ he opened his wallet to reveal a card proving he is 100% certified to perform weddings!

Our final stop was King Arthur Carousel. And after a day of walking around Disneyland in wedges, I think Nicole was more than happy to switch back to her Converse!

What an incredibly fun and magical day! Thank you Nicole and Ben for including me during this exciting time in your lives!
